What does the NimbusHaven Bag Heat Sealer & Opener do?

It’s a 2-in-1 device that both seals and opens bags. The heat element creates an airtight seal on plastic bags, keeping your food fresh. The built-in cutter lets you reopen sealed bags cleanly without scissors.

What types of bags can I seal?

The sealer works on most standard plastic bags including chip bags, coffee bags, nut and seed bags, frozen food bags, bread bags, and snack packets. It is not suitable for zipper bags, foil-lined bags, or bags thicker than standard plastic packaging.

How does it charge?

It charges via USB-C — the same connector as most modern smartphones and tablets. A full charge takes approximately 45–60 minutes and can last for hundreds of seals.

Is it easy to use?

Yes! There are two clearly labelled buttons — one for sealing and one for opening. Simply slide the bag into the slot, press and hold the seal button for 1–2 seconds while moving along the bag edge, and you’re done.

How much does delivery cost?

Free shipping on orders over R1000. Orders under R1000 attract a flat delivery fee of R100, delivered anywhere in South Africa.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1 business day and take 4–8 business days to arrive, depending on your location. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order is on its way.

Do you ship outside South Africa?

No. At this time we only ship to addresses within South Africa.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy. If your item is defective or arrives damaged, contact us at support@nimbushaven.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement. See our full Returns Policy for details.
